Just a quick equipment review of solite wetsuit gloves…those who have the boots know how good they are, they’ve just released some gloves that I got my sweaty mitts on.

So…The good: Warmth: the 3/2s are similar in warmth to normal 5mils and much much lighter, The palms are lined with a really tough rubber, similar (but thinner) to boot soles, this is great as I usually go through a palm at the pressure point where I duck-dive or pop up within about 8weeks and my gloves start leaking. I just can’t see this happening with these…

The bad(ish): I would like the neoprene cuff to be a little longer but that is not a major thing.

Size: be aware they come up small. I’m a medium in every other major make, and a medium usually is very slightly large on me. These were a struggle to get on (although they loosened slightly in the water), so if you verge on a bigger size (or say a ML) go up a size. Other than that issue I would definitely recommend and I suspect they’re going to last well!!!
